A gathe ring to discuss about queer topics\, following the words written by queer people for queer people. There is not just one book assigned. Every partic ipant is invited to choose a book\, an article\, a zine or any text that t hey read and they find fitting to the topic.\n\n\nTopic of this month will be: Queers around the globe! 🌍\n\nThe focus will be on non-US/Europe b ooks and texts. We want to break the narrative for which queerness is some thing “new” and that lives only in modern US/Europe society. From nati ve american to african and asian authors. It is not just about geography: your challenge is to find authors that speak outside of the “western”/ colonizer mainstream queer culture.\n\n\nEveryone will have the opportunit y to present what they brought (giving some quotes from the text and expla ining what they find interesting about it) and it will be discussed togeth er\, combining different points of view and different sources in order to enrich our collective knowledge.\n\nThere will be space for both fiction a nd non fiction.
